What's New In Lenovo's Yoga Book 9i

Lenovo's Yoga Book 9i Deep Dive

With the newly designed Yoga Book 9i and premium consumer devices, Lenovo has become more significant and striking for demonstrating innovation.

It might be Lenovo's most successful attempt at making a dual-screen laptop that's less conceptually futuristic and more practical. During the device's development, the company found a way to combine the strengths of dual-screen and foldable screen factors while reducing their weaknesses.

In the majority of cases, the answer has been no. These models have yet to gain much attention, and while they're undoubtedly new, they don't meet the same itch as a desktop setup with two similar displays.

The real advantage of dual-screen setups is that they prevent you from swapping between windows all the time to accomplish your tasks. Every one of us has been frustrated by the pain of working on major projects on small laptop displays and switching endlessly between spreadsheets full of stats, emailed suggestions from colleagues, and media assets. You wish you could throw that small laptop device out the window as the process slows you down to a crawl.

It might be possible to get reasonably close by squeezing smaller secondary displays into their laptop models, let's be honest, rather bulky form factors, like the Zenbook Pro 14. For example, Asus uses this method to edit video timelines for photos, but it isn't suitable for spreadsheets and emails.

Likewise, problems can also be encountered when smaller secondary displays replace a laptop's touchpad. What about just having one giant foldable screen, then? That's what several laptop makers, Lenovo included, attempted with models like the ThinkPad as mentioned above, X1 Fold or Asus' Zenbook 17 Fold, seen above. Both devices seem straight out of the future when viewed from a distance. It is similar to those transparent displays that sci-fi movies seem so excited about, but what about practicality?

In the age of hybrid living, consumers prioritize convenience and premium experiences from technology that is more personalized and multifaceted. People now expect versatile tech that enables them to do more in all areas of their lives - whether collaborating across devices or simplifying.

Keeping this in mind, Lenovo recently introduced bold and innovative products to address today's consumers' needs. Innovative design, premium style, and performance exemplify the all-new Yoga Book 9i. They are introducing Yoga AIO 9i, a new breed of all-in-one computer. The recently released Lenovo Tab Extreme and Lenovo Smart Paper tablets introduce brand-new features. Lenovo's Project Chronos concept (formal name forthcoming) allows users to interact with and perform activities in 3D virtual worlds without glasses or wearables.

This all-new Yoga Book 9i features the first full-size OLED dual-screen laptop and offers unique features that empower creatives. The exceptionally flexible Yoga Book 9i built on the Intel® Evo platform offers dual-screen versatility, multimode functionality, and superior entertainment options. Whether working, creating, learning or entertaining, the YogaBook 9i supports a new generation of creative consumers.

Yoga 9i's Different Practices

  • Dual-Screen Setup For Next-Level Efficiency

Thanks to its dual screens and Intel Core processors, the Yoga Book 9i offers a whole laptop experience with flexibility and multitasking. Thin and light laptops, built on the Intel Evo platform, are designed and engineered to provide a seamless experience across various applications. It is done while reducing the impact on battery life and performance.

Yoga Book 9i's dual-screen technology offers consumers a range of versatile experiences. It could be as simple as displaying the image across two full screens with an easy five-finger motion. Users who want to work on two separate files side by side can view both files on each screen for hyper-productivity. At the same time, consumers can watch a video on one screen and take notes or research on the second screen.

The slim and lightweight convertible form factor allows users to switch seamlessly between laptop, tablet, or tent modes. When using the tent, users can view the presentation on one screen while controlling it on another screen. Dual-screen features also improve communication and collaboration. The host can present on one screen, answer questions on the second screen, and advance slides on the third screen. Users can work more easily on the go with the Yoga Book 9i's folio stand. It has a detachable Bluetooth® keyboard and Lenovo's Smart Pen stylus, enhancing productivity.

  • Innovative Software & Elevated Entertainment

Lenovo and Microsoft designed Yoga Book 9i's innovative software to allow users to work, learn, stream, create, and play fair games. Powered by Windows 11, this software features innovative features for writing, reading, and taking notes. This feature can handle messages on one screen while an online class is viewed on the second screen.

When it's time to relax, users can watch a movie on one screen while researching interesting background facts on the other. The Yoga Book 9i's dual 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED PureSight displays with 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy and Dolby Vision® HDR provide ultra-vivid colours, sharper contrast, and richer detail. Consumers can enjoy outstanding entertainment with Dolby Atmos® spatial audio and Bowers & Wilkins® speakers. Yoga Book 9i's modern and sophisticated Tidal Teal colour is another appealing design feature. Additionally, it comes in a 100% recycled box, gift box, and cushion material.

Yoga 9i Stunning Look

Only some products, such as secondary and tertiary monitor add-ons for standard laptops, have come close. Although these add-on screens might be practical for dedicated road warriors, most of us would blush at the coffee shop as the Transformers sound effect plays in our heads during the lengthy setup process.

Compared to other laptops, Yoga Book 9i doesn't require unusual, tiny screens or setups that may or may not work well with certain apps. All the necessary hardware for running two laptop displays is squeezed into a slim outer shell, with two average-sized laptop displays on a hinge.

After the Yoga Book 9i arrives in June, only consumers can evaluate if the company has finally answered the dual-screen laptop question. Additionally, it will depend on whether they feel the specs are worth $2,100. It is a bargain if the Yoga Book 9i lives up to the massive potential of a handy dual-screen laptop.
